We first came to Pamplona on our first trip in 2018 and decided we had missed the Bull ring visit. Not that we would want to be there for the bull run. We parked on the same road north of the city some 3km walk in. We went straight to to the Bull ring. €5 each to visit. We had a good look round in the sun. After we went for a meal 3 course and a bottle of local wine €30. We then took the long way back to the van and decided that was enough for the day.
After a short drive we arrived at the free camping stop in Jaca. We visited the 16th-century citadel with its miniature military museum. We had a walk round the town and the after a long Spanish lunch went back out and walked round the moat to see the Deer. We had a visit to the the cathedral and walked back to the van. I think tomorrow we will move onto Pamplona and stop for a couple of days.
Having spent a few days driving thru France after an early morning tunnel trip. We came up into the center of the Pyrenees crossing a 1818M and dropped down into Aínsa a lovely village. Stone ruins of a castle set within a medieval walled village with plazas & a 12th-century church. We had a nice walk and wine in the village square . Stopping overnight for Euro 3 inc water dump. Nice quiet night and it took a while for the sun to warm in the morning.
We decided for our last Temporary Holiday Site this year to have 9 days in Kendal. We went to meet Jean's Cousin another Jean and her husband Angus, Had a wonderful time. On Saturday we had a walk in the town. We went to Ambelside and Bowness
