Vadstena
Friends for over 40 years Chris and Stew and lovely to catch up with them in Sweden, they on their boat us with “Gladys”.
Lovely day, relaxing by lake Vattern here in the picturesque & medieval town of Vadstena, with a walk along the promenade and out to a nature reserve where we both dipped our toes into the lake which was surprisingly warm.
Yesterday evening we had a lovely walk in the beautiful sunshine around another part of Vadstena. We were sad to leave this morning but needs must! Today we have travelled south taking time out to visit the Ikea museum and first store in Almhult. Lovely last stop in Sweden tonight although rather breezy!
