Battery replacement.
Having had the Banner batterys for 20 months I found them not to be holding a charge and after consultation with Martin Bushnell at http://www.aandncaravanservices.co.uk
I came to the conclusion that the AMG battery's where not being charged properly with EHU and Solar and Engine power. So I decided to go to 2 x Yuasa L36-EFB battery's. They are a Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) and should be able to be charged correctly. Information links follow.

Also if this is in a Motorhome and you don’t have an AGM for the starter battery and an AGM compliant “smart” alternator, this will cause improper charging because you can’t mix technologies. So far they have been fine they sit at a lower voltage around 12.7v than the AGM but time will tell.
The Yuasa L36-EFB (not the L36-100) is an enhanced flooded battery and requires 14.4 volts for between 4 and 6 hours dropping to 13.7 for float charge. Long term maintenance voltage should be no more than 13.3 volts.
The Dometic charger is set ON ON OFF OFF on the dip switches.
