Granada and The Alhambra

We stopped in a campsite a little dated but clean and hot showers some 10 miles south of Granada and took the bus into the city only €1.5. Granada is a city in southern Spain’s Andalusia region, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It's known for grand examples of medieval architecture dating to the Moorish occupation, especially the Alhambra.

This sprawling hilltop fortress complex encompasses royal palaces, serene patios, and reflecting pools from the Nasrid dynasty, as well as the fountains and orchards of the Generalife gardens. We had a guided tour at 2pm and went all over the palace's.

We decided to stop for some diner and managed after chatting to a couple from Llandudno to miss the bus. So it was Uber to the rescue only €21 back to the campsite.
