We decided to have a tram trip into Alicante to see the Nativity and the light.
In the land of giants
The largest Nativity scene figures in the world have gained some equally enormous new friends with the addition of the Three Kings.
Towering over Alicante’s city’s emblematic esplanade, the original gigantic statues of the baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph measure 3.32 metres, 10m and 17m in height respectively, and have held the Guinness World Record since December 2020. It was a very warm evening at 19C we found the lights not on at the main Nativity. But the photos seem better. We went for Tapas at the local bar D'tablas.
