Beadnell and Bamburgh

After an MOT and a 4 hr drive we arrived at the THS at Beadnell and had a short walk into the village and down to the Harbour.

Seahouses today, lovely walk through the dunes, warm but blustery. Nice fish & chip lunch and we managed to dodge the golf balls on our way back!

We woke to rain, but that didn’t stop us! We decided to walk into the village and get on the first bus to arrive! So we spent an hour on a lovely scenic ride to Berwick on Tweed (The bus passes working overtime again)!

Great day in Bamburgh, although a bit cool we stayed dry. St Aidan’s Church, peaceful and informative. The where getting ready to put on a play based on the invasion from Sweden in the 700 AD. Then after a famous sausage roll from the local butchers it was on to visit The Castle.
