Campo de Criptana and Alcázar de San Juan
The road takes us to Campo de Criptana which is also a "land of giants" because here you'll find its famous windmills, which apparently are the ones that truly inspired Cervantes when writing Don Quixote's adventures. Some 10 mills still stand on the hill overlooking the town. Some 10 km away is Alcázar de San Juan is a traditional village of the La Mancha region, with major ancestral homes from the 17th-19th centuries and some windmills.
