Olive Oil and Cazorla

We headed north west from the coast via Vélez Rubio and an overnight stop across to Cazorla. We came back for the olive oil. Cazorla stands at 840m above sea level, it was late afternoon by the time we arrived and raining slightly. We joined another 5 vans at the free aire high above the town, the trees still have leaves on so no view of the valley this time! We waited until after siesta time and the rain had stopped before visiting this familiar town. Sadly, quite unusual, but places didn’t open as we would have expected but, our artisan oil shop did, one happy John!!

By the way here in the hills social distancing and mask wearing indoors and out seems to be the norm, feels very safe.
