Ronda

We drove up into the mountains and to Ronda. Winter coats, long trousers & jumpers on, and off we go on another walking session!! We hit the “new” town first, so vibrant with shops we recognise and some we don’t plus lots of nic-nac shops, very touristy! Then down to the historic centre. To have a look at the views and the new bridge. The New Bridge is the most emblematic and beautiful monument of the city of Ronda in Malaga, built between 1751 and 1793. It staddles the Tajo of Ronda, a gorge more than 100 metres deep, which was excavated by the river Guadalevín thanks to the course of time. After tapas and a wine we headed back. Legs tired we climb back up to Gladys late afternoon when all is quiet! Another fantastic day.
