Transfagarasan Highway

Wow! We’ve done it, driven the famous 7C or Transfagarasan Highway! At 90 kilometres or 56 miles long it isn’t particularly long but it took us most of the day setting out at 7.15am, passing over the Fagaras mountains at 2000 metres with endless curves and sheer drops, which are now having barriers put in place. What with sheep in the road and Bear’s. A day to remember! Stopping in a camp site in the south.
