Danube Delta

So over the border to Romania and an overnight on the north side of the Danube.

Then onto the Danube Delta, a 6am start! With a lovely view of the sunrise at 6.20am. A unique, roadless wilderness, Europes largest wetland and biggest reed bed, carpeted with water lilies, and many birds but the white pelicans take pride of place. Approximately 4,152 square kilometres of which 3,446 km2 are in Romania whilst the remainder is in the Ukraine. An unforgettable experience! Moving to a municipal site on the delta with a boat ride out to a beach and a swim in the Baltic with sweet water. Mix of Fresh water and Sea water.
